Ten years have passed since IFC, together with the governments of Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway, first launched the Conflict-Affected States in Africa (CASA) initiative, a dedicated regional platform, to accelerate private sector development in post-conflict countries. On the occasion of CASA’s 10-year anniversary, IFC, in partnership with Ireland, the Netherlands and Norway, is convening a one-day learning event to reflect, debate and synthesize lessons learned from our experience in fragile and conflict-affected environments.  The event will bring together regional and international experts and seasoned practitioners from development finance institutions, governments, business, investor groups, and civil society for a collection of dynamic learning and networking opportunities.

The day’s events aim to share operational knowledge and experience, provide a platform to engage with various stakeholders, broaden partnership opportunities and thought leadership, and foster innovative practices and out-of-box approaches among practitioners to contribute to scaling up private sector investment in FCS.
